Athlete of the Week: Charlotte Trenter
PledgeSports have the pleasure of working with some phenomenal athletes and teams. Every Friday we will choose one of them as the PledgeSports “Athlete of the Week”.
This week’s winner is 16-year-old show jumper, Charlotte Trenter. Since the age of nine, Charlotte has dreamt of winning the French Championships and being selected to compete internationally around the world.
With the support of her family and in the company of her trusted horse, Soleil, Charlotte has worked hard to turn her ambitions into reality.
As Charlotte gradually moved up through the ranks and different heights, she achieved many first places and is constantly gaining a lot of recognition on the show jumping circuit. In the last six months, Charlotte has won competitions in Bonneval, Le Lion-d’Angers and Paris.
It will take consistent placements at elite events all over France if Charlotte is to be successful in being selected for international events.
Unfortunately, while she has made a great start to the season, it is extremely expensive to travel the country, paying the entry fees for at least two tournaments per month and being coached along the way.
Charlotte has joined forces with PledgeSports with the aim of crowdfunding the money she needs to reach the next level of her show jumping career. Helping Charlotte to hit her fundraising target would allow her to build on her fantastic performances in 2017 so far, and give her the optimum chance of winning the French title she has been working for since day one.
