Hi, I’m Yasmin Harper, I’m 16 years old and train at city of Sheffield diving club. I have recently been selected for my first senior international at the 2017 FINA diving Grand Prix in Bolzano. I would really appreciate any support in helping me finance this trip.

I have been diving for 3 years, previously competing for GB in gymnastics until 2014. I now dedicate most of my time training and going to diving competitions. After dislocating my elbow at the end of November I managed to fully recover and compete in the junior elite diving championships in April, getting silver on the 1m and 3m springboard.

I am still at school full time studying for my A-levels, which means having to balance 22 hours of training per week with all of my school work.

This summer I will be travelling to Norway to take part in the Junior European diving championships and then straight on to Bolzano for the Grand Prix, this will be my first year competing internationally for Great Britain, which will be a great experience. These opportunities will help me to develop as a diver in the hope that one day I will be able to achieve my dream of the Olympics Games.
