This Team Nowak story begins after my son’s death – Ben Nowak, a Royal Marine PT Instructor, who always wanted to compete in the sport of Triathlon.  So it was left to me at 60+ and after a 30 year rest from competitive sport due to work and family commitments to pick up the baton.  So I started competing at Sprint Triathlon, doing this at first in my son’s memory, but soon, my hunger to get back to the top of a new sport, took over.

This getting back to the top, will only be achieveable fully with the financial help and assistance from all my loyal TeamNowak supporters, and of course companies help & support would be fantastic, as you can see some of the supporters in the photo above this story and also my social media followers (Instagram & Facebook).  l am looking now to beat all my previous sporting achievements  ie Ranked 9th in Europe and 16th in the World.

First things first, My number one Target this year 2018 is the European Age Group Sprint Triathlon Championships being held 11th August  in Glasgow. Then to the next level – its the World Sprint Championship being held on 29th August 2019 in Lausanne, Switzerland.  This l will be competing in, after winning the British Championships 2017 and coming 2nd in a World Sprint Qualifing Competition 2018 (additional Action Photos below)  and getting automatic selection for the Great Britain Team.

To help assure a Podium medal (Gold?) at these events,  l need to acquire equipment that is used by the Pro/Elite triathlete’s in there daily training and competition, this equipment will help seriously up my game……

Company sponsorship is reserved for the young,  so I keep getting told repeatedly,  But l’m sure that their is a few Companies that still exist out there that can get some good mileage & Great PR as well as great advertising opportunities from a young at heart 62 year old on the rise triathlete.  As you can see from my cover picture No Sponsor Logos on my GB Tri Suit as yet !  Hopefully with the  New 2018/2019  GB Kit.  A  Sponsors will be forth coming !!!!
