Both of us, Catriona and Sarah have been fortunate enough to be selected to represent Ireland in the IPF World powerlifting championships 2019 in Helsingborg Sweden. Catriona as an u63KG Junior and Sarah as an 84KG+ Junior.

This is Catriona’s first international cap and Sarah’s third. Both of them hold national records in different age and weight classes, both have also podium placed in the past at National level events, Catriona placing third in the u21 lightweight females at Junior Nationals last November and Sarah placing Second at Open Nationals February 2019

However, the cost is quite high and we are both unemployed and Catriona is a full-time student. Therefore any money raised will go directly towards our flights to Sweden. This would reduce the cost dramatically for us and make the rest of the trip more feasible.
