The National Championship is organized by JKTyre Motorsports and is called The JK Tyre National Championship. In 2018 I raced for the ” Rookie National Championship” at the Kari Motor Speedway, Coimbatore, against 20 men. The Championship had 3 rounds and I finished at the 11th position, despite racing for the first time.
This year (2019) I am driving for Team Ahura at the “LGB Formula 4” category. It is the only all- women’s team in the country and I am the only woman from Kerala to be a part of this event racing in a team of 6 girls. We have a total of 4 rounds in this championship from which 3 rounds happen in Kari Motor Speedway and the final round happens at the Buddh International Circuit, Noida. We will have 26 cars on the grid and for the first time in the JK Tyre National Championships, they have introduced Women Podiums, giving women participants an opportunity to win titles.
I am keenly looking for sponsorship to race this year and would be ecstatic if I would be lucky enough to receive it.
