Hi sports fans!

A little bit about me:

I stepped into a boat for the first time when I was 11 years old. The Olympic games really have been penciled into my future from that very moment. Finally at aged 23, I am in a position to make it a reality.

And trust me, I’ve been laying the groundwork for quite some time!

I became Junior World Rowing Champion in 2010, making history in Great Britain’s first ever women’s boat to win these championships.

Shortly after this, I was invited to row and study for my bachelor’s degree at the University of Washington, USA. I raced for the Washington Huskies for four years, in the top selected boat and graduated with a first class degree in Journalism.

Last year, I represented Great Britain at the Under-23 World Rowing Championships 2014, where I won a silver medal, which has helped push me into GB’s elite development program.

I am currently training in Putney, London at one of the assigned High-Performance centres for Great Britain’s women rowers and working as a community coach for London Youth Rowing – a charity that helps get inner city schools involved in rowing programs. Check out the website – www.londonyouthrowing.com – to find out what great work we’re doing!

Your donations will go towards helping to buy a new racing boat, which I need to be able to put myself in the best position possible in the squad over the next year.

Thank-you so much for taking the time to visit my page – your contributions are helping to drive my rowing career forward, towards a place I have been dreaming about for over 10 years.

Feel free to get in touch via my Twitter page for more information!
