Hello Everyone,
Thank you for reading my page and being supportive of my athletics & running and I hope you can find a few minutes to read, like and share this with others.
I have been running now for 20 years from 10km’s to marathons and year on year I have gone from strength to strength getting personal best times at most distances.
I am now at a stage where the amount of training and races that I am doing each month I am wearing out my clothes/trainers as quick as I am buying them and I am now finding it difficult to keep buying new clothing and entering races and I am looking to raise £2,000 by the end of the year to be able to afford running equipment and pay for race entries for 2016.
My projected out goings for 2016 including travel and accommodation to events will be in excess of £5,000 so if you can provide any additional support with this please email me at [email protected]
I am now getting closer in age to the 40 mark but even so I am still very focused on what I am doing and the races that I compete in, I will not be able to challenge the likes of Mo Farah and the younger generation of athletes now coming through but for my age I am regarded as a UK top performing athlete and my goal moving into 2016 and 2017 is to be ranked the best in my age group.
When I was young I was not into fitness at all and got out of breath running to the end of the driveway when I started doing cross country at school I found that I always did quite well and my love for running went from there and proved to many that anything is possible if you put your mind to it.
My ultimate goal would of course be to represent Great Britain at the Olympics and Commonwealth Games and as mentioned anything is possible but with my realistic head on it would be amazing just to say that in the country I am one of the top performing athletes for my age group.
My funding page is to gain enough to be able to afford to pay for footwear and clothing for training each month and any additional funds would be put to race entries, travel, accommodation, training camps and sports testing.
Thank you!

First 48 Hours
Over the first 48 Hours of my pledge page I have had £150 which is amazing apart from one person everyone has been anonymous. If you don't want to leave your name please drop me an email at [email protected] as so I can thank you personally for your support on here. Again many thanks for those that are supporting. Blake
First Week
Over this first week the support that everyone has shown has been amazing and the support I have been getting has blown me away. I have had a number of large companies approach me wanting to work along side me next year and I have had lots of press coverage. I would still love for people to help support me in designing my 2016 race trainers which you will receive after my events signed they could be a part of a 2016 record. I have also added in a new pledge option for those that just want to show your support and get a monthly update from me.
Week two & three
Going into the second week, the support from people is still growing with fantastic support from local companies wanting to get involved with my journey which is amazing. The pledges are still coming in and I have now hit the 25% milestone which is great, still looking for a number of people to get involved and book in some personal training sessions with for an great opportunity to see how I train.
