Hi, I’m Heike, a dressage coach and mum based near Carbury, Kildare in Ireland
This is the first time ever a dressage team has qualified for an Olympic Games and I’m so excited to have been a part of it with a horse that I have bred and produced myself.
Having represented Ireland at 3 Olympic Games, and being Irish national champion 13 times, (twice with Sambuca) I am a dressage coach and mum based in Ireland and am self funded.
We need to compete at some International shows and training in Europe starting at the end of February . This will involve 3 or 4 trips to Germany, Belgium, France and the UK before July.
I have done the costings on this and just for the ferry crossings, entries, and diesel alone, the cost will be at least €15,000.
