The Windhoek Super League season is a football campaign that contains 4 separate competitions (WSL Preseason Cup, WSL League Tournament, WSL League Cup and WSL Top 8 Play-Offs). Football in Namibia has been dead for the better part of 3 years, so the Windhoek Super League was created in efforts to combat the dwindling football industry in Namibia.
The mission of the WSL is to enhance, assist and grow the sport of soccer in Namibia, with a special emphasis on underprivileged communities. We at WSL view soccer as a powerful vehicle for social change at various levels, by supporting the development of places to play, places to grow, and places to learn, our goal is to ensure that all sports men, women and children have easy and affordable access to quality soccer programs that support their physical and personal development.
The WSL offers memorable experiences in a safe environment for participants, soccer enthusiasts, and the community at large. WSL games are very competitive, fun and cater to all persons from all age groups from all walks of life who share the love for soccer and sports in general.
